Roles and Responsibilities of a Procurement Manager: Develop effective and efficient vendor network for all direct and indirect purchases
Define and execute various purchase related policies and procedures including but not limited to payment terms, quality norms etc.
Track and report key financial metrics to identify ways to reduce cost and improve effectiveness
Work with key stakeholders to define policies and processes for requirement documentation
Identify vendors in countries outside India especially for Sports good imports
Perform a thorough vendor analysis to identify credible and reliable vendor sources for all types of Sports goods
Develop effective working relationships between such vendors & Organization
Define processes and policies for import related activities including PO terms and conditions, rate contracts etc.
Participate in other activities related to procurement of ad-hoc materials and services from time to time
Identify process improvement opportunities that will help business run more efficiently and effectively
