Qualifications And Skills
- ITI Welder certification or equivalent qualification
- Experience with MIG welding techniques
- Knowledge of different welding materials and their properties
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform welding tasks
- Knowledge of safety standards and procedures
- Perform various types of welding, such as MIG welding, to join metal parts
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or other technical drawings to determine the layout of metal components
- Select and position welding equipment and tools necessary for the job
- Operate welding machines and tools to produce strong and accurate welds
- Inspect and test welded joints for quality and conformance to specifications
- Repair and maintain welding equipment as needed
- Adhere to safety standards and regulations while performing welding tasks
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and according to specifications
