About SWN Shipping
SWN Shipping is a shipping Support Company operated by experienced professionals in shipping, logistics, drilling and port management sector. It extends support to its foreign principals (Ship Owners and ship managers) based out of Dubai and Europe.
Company is presently doing commercial management and technical management support of tankers operating worldwide for its foreign principals.
The company is based out of Dubai and Mumbai.
This requirement is for vessels owned /operated / chartered by our foreign clients.
Location – CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai
Responsibilities Key Deliverables – Technical management of oil tankers
Build relationships with managers/owners and provide feedback on management services for customer satisfaction. Ability to work in accordance with documented procedures with attention to detail and accuracy. Possess good interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate with different stakeholders with different backgrounds and ranks. Ability to deal with foreign nationals. Ready to work as per different time zones.
Education Qualification
First class Motor (Tanker) certificate
General Experience
2 to 3 Years as chief engineer on tankers and 1-2 Years of shore experience. Gas experience is added advantage. Good communication skills and computer skills
Compensation
Compensation: Company will adequately compensate deserving candidates.
Preference will be given to candidates from neighboring localities.

Responsibilities Key Deliverables – Technical management of oil tankers
- Selected candidate will have to manage oil tankers especially product tankers
- Overseeing complete technical management of vessels including maintenance and purchase.
- Managing dry-docking and up-gradation.
- Liasion with class and other statutory bodies for compliance with survey and classification requirements.
- Management of cargo operations and its machineries.
- Follow up on vetting and HSQE compliances.
Build relationships with managers/owners and provide feedback on management services for customer satisfaction.
