Your impact

Structural engineers play a crucial role in designing and maintaining infrastructure that interacts with water, impacting everything from building safety to water conservation and disaster resilience. Their work includes ensuring structures can withstand water damage, designing systems for water management, and contributing to sustainable water practices.

Main Role Responsibilities

• Design and analyze structures for water and wastewater treatment facilities, underground structures including tanks, buildings, pipelines, and other related infrastructure
• Perform analysis & design of the structural systems using various national and international codal provisions e.g. IS, ACI, Eurocodes etc
• Coordination of design work with other disciplines
• Liaise with internal and external clients, as required.
• Maintain high work standards, minimise production errors and attention to detail
• Mentor entry-level and junior structural engineering staff
  
  
  

Here's what you'll need

Experience

• Possess a range of structural analysis and design experience, particularly in relation to reinforced concrete and steelwork structures
• 6 to 12 years of structural engineering experience in Water / Wastewater projects in domestic and international projects.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or M.Tech in Structural Engineering. Skills and Competencies
• Experience with working on Similar type of Projects
• Familiar with different type of loadings
• Strong planning and organising skills – task management, resourcing, etc.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrates a commitment to on-going learning and development Desired Skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
