Job Responsibilities :

  • Consolidate, finalize and monitor the Sales Plan and Actuals for the Territory - Monthly and Annual.
  • Generate orders on a daily basis by following up with customers and channel partners.
  • Monitor actual customer off take vs. plan (Sales Plan, MOU, and Annual Budget).
  • Regularly communicate to customers and channel partners on production schedules, material availability position from various manufacturing sites, and change in our prices, MOU Schemes and signing.
  • Feedback to customers on dispatches, order status and stock transfer movement to regional depots.
  • Movement plan by grade/site to depots and periodically monitor Physical Stock, Stock in transit and STOs to avoid stock outs, and monitor ageing and disposal of stocks.
  • Customer coverage, Sales Plan,Customer Visits and periodic updating of customers profiles
  • Collection of samples both finished products and raw material aimed at enhancing service levels to customer.
  • New customers - Handholding, master creation, grade selection, DCA tie-up, technical knowhow, etc.
  • Complaints Acknowledge & provide feedback or escalate resolve the issue.
  • Prepare annual expense budget for the assigned territory.
  • Liaison with local Associations and authorities.
  • Provide inputs for NSR improvements and Pricing through constant interaction with customers and channel partners.
  • Maximize grades with higher NSR in the assigned geographical Territory.
  • Assist in conducting CRMs, Seminars, Workshops, Exhibitions, etc. aimed at generating additional business.
  • Provide regular inputs to HO BD Team for arranging approvals, spec-ins, etc.
  • Track capacity additions and investment by customers and update.
  • Regular interaction with trade channels, customers on open market prices and trends, international offers and provide periodic inputs to NSM and Regional Managers.
  • Keep a track of co-producers business operations, product availability and commercial policies and trade terms and periodically update.
  • Keep track of over dues, outstanding of customers and follow up for payments.


Job Accountabilities

Market Analysis and Strategic Input

  • Offer strategic pricing and NSR improvement suggestions based on customer and partner interactions.
  • Prioritize high NSR grades within the territory to maximize sales.
  • Regularly assess market prices, trends, and competitor activities, providing updates to senior management.
  • Keep informed about customer capacity expansions and investment plans.


Sales Planning and Monitoring

  • Develop and oversee the monthly and annual sales plan and budget for the territory.
  • Track & Achieve customer off-take versus sales plans, MOUs, and annual budgets.


Customer Relationship Management / Top Account Management:

  • Manage Closely and grow top customer accounts in the region.
  • Cultivate relationships with customer stakeholders in technical and commercial divisions at all levels.


Order Generation and Customer Engagement

  • Maintain ongoing communication with customers and partners about production schedules, material availability, price changes, and MOU schemes.
  • Ensure comprehensive customer coverage through regular visits and profile updates.
  • Support new customer onboarding with guidance on grade selection, technical knowhow, and DCA tie-ups.


Inventory and Stock Management

  • Plan and monitor stock movements to depots, manage physical stock and stock in transit, and prevent stock outs.
  • Collect and analyze samples of finished products and raw materials to enhance customer service levels.


Customer Support and Issue Resolution

  • Address customer complaints promptly, providing feedback or escalating issues as necessary.
  • Monitor and follow up on customer payments to manage overdues and outstanding amounts.


Liaison and Business Development

  • Build and maintain relationships with local associations and authorities.
  • Facilitate business growth by organizing and participating in CRMs, seminars, workshops, and exhibitions.
  • Provide insights and support to the HO Business Team for obtaining approvals and specifications.


Team Management

  • Lead and mentor the sales team to achieve individual and collective targets by providing regular training, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities.
  • Foster a collaborative and motivated work environment by encouraging teamwork, addressing team conflicts promptly, and ensuring clear communication of goals and expectations

Education Requirement :

B. E. / B. Tech in Chemical / Polymer / Textile / Mechanical engineering + MBA (preferable)

Experience Requirement :

  • 7 to 10 years of relevant experience
