This Position The role will be part of the VikingCloud PMO team with specific responsibilities for defining and implementing PMO processes & procedures. The PMO team is responsible for the delivery of programs of work relating to organizational strategy. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for ensuring the PMO processes and methodologies are optimised to support delivery success. The Senior Project Manager will create and implement strategies for the effective planning, resourcing, monitoring and delivery of programs of work. The successful candidate will design and implement processes for resource planning, change management, risk & issue management, progress reporting including corresponding reporting and dashboards. He or she will review program and project templates and change procedures ensuring they are fit for purpose and continue to be best practice. They will develop and implement training on new processes and collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure understanding and adherence to process and policies. Responsibilities Assessment, definition and implementation of PMO processes, procedures and reporting in line with current best practice and in line with audit requirements. Management of resource planning & monitoring across multiple programs of work. Development, implementation and maintenance of key PMO processes and reports and supporting tool sets including Jira, Confluence, Sharepoint etc. Establishing, maintaining and reporting program delivery KPIs and performance reports based on industry best practice. Ensure mechanisms are in place for managing the planning, estimation and scheduling of work for the delivery pipeline. Once processes are defined and rolled out, ensure there are mechanisms in place to monitor adherence. Manage the planning, estimation and scheduling of work for the delivery pipeline. Updating and maintain project management processes and documentation aligned with PMO best practice. Implement mechanisms to track key program delivery KPIs, benefit realisation and performance reports. Cross Program RAIDLL Log Management. Qualifications/ Experience PMP, Scrum Master or other PM Certification. Experience managing resource planning within technical organisations. Minimum 10+ years of experience in Project Management Great Jira & Confluence experience is a must - and you use them to visualise the delivery process for the team. Experience of working in a SDLC waterfall, scrum, agile. Extensive Change Management experience. Fluency in English, spoken and written, is a must. You take the lead and are driven to ensure objectives are met. You have excellent communication and people skills and can adapt your style to achieve business goals. Youre a facilitator youre excellent at supporting cross functional collaboration. Youre a problem solver and help find a way to remove blocks and get to a resolution that works for everyone. Youre motivated and take the initiative to make progress and move forward. You will be seen as a go to person and easy to speak with, someone with high EQ. The team will trust you when you say something, you follow through. Youre organized and are timeline driven. Youve got great Jira/Confluence skills and you use them to visualise the delivery process for the team.
