QA Automation - Analyst

Position Summary

QA - Assistant Manager, USI Level 4

Demonstrates a working understanding of planning, developing and coordinating automation testing activities including script preparation, test execution and result analysis

Work you’ll do

• Lead the QA team in planning, designing, and implementing test strategies, test plans, and test cases for software applications.
• Drive the adoption and implementation of Tosca automation framework for test automation activities.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Tosca, ensuring maximum test coverage and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into comprehensive test scenarios.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to QA team members in Tosca automation practices and methodologies.
• Perform hands-on testing and troubleshoot issues to identify root causes and drive their resolution.
• Conduct regular test execution, analyze test results, and provide recommendations for improving product quality.
• Continuously identify areas for process improvement, automation enhancement, and performance optimization.
• Stay up to date with industry best practices, emerging trends, and advancements in Tosca automation tools and technologies.
• Participate in release planning and coordinate testing activities with development and product management teams.
  
  

Requirements:

• 8 to 10 years of experience as a Senior QA Lead, with a strong focus on test automation using Tosca.
• In-depth knowledge of Tosca automation tool and experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts.
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, testing processes, and best practices.
• Strong experience in test planning, test design, and test execution for complex software systems.
• Proficient in Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Tosca certification or relevant certifications in software testing and quality assurance are a plus.

The principle focus of this organization is the development and maintenance of technology solutions that e-enable the delivery of Function and Marketplace Services and Management Information Systems. DAS develops and maintains solutions built on varied technologies like SAP, Microsoft, Lotus Notes Dominos and Essbase. DAS has various groups which provide the best of the breed solutions to the clients by following a streamlined system development methodology. DAS comprises of groups like Usability, Application Architecture, Development and Quality Assurance and Performance.
