Product Manager, Returns and Rejects, Amazon Smart Commerce

We are looking for a single threaded owner to lead initiatives in reducing Returns and Rejects (RRR) for D2C brands.

Key job responsibilities

Key job responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end returns management solutions for D2C brands on Smart Commerce
• Create automated returns reconciliation and refund settlement systems to streamline merchant operations. Develop analytics solutions to track returns metrics, identify patterns, and generate actionable insights
• Design and optimize the seller experience for RTO solutions across e-commerce service providers (eSPs)
  
  

Develop prepaid incentivization programs to shift customer behavior from COD to prepaid payment.

• Partner with Data Science teams to implement ML models for returns optimization and fraud prevention
  
  

Implement AI/ML solutions for return fraud detection and prevention

• Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, and Operations teams to deliver scalable solutions
• Collaborate with merchants to understand pain points and implement effective returns solutions

Within this, we are building a solution to enable sellers to set up their website & scale their independent online business serving their customers with the most effective ways possible. In other words, we want to be the one stop shop for all e-commerce needs of small & medium D2C brands.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of product management experience
• Experience managing technical products or online services
• Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (i.e. SQL, MSAccess, Tableau, Essbase or Cognos)
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in balancing conflicting priorities dealing with ambiguity
• Experience building and analyzing cost/benefit scenarios and business cases and communicating results throughout the organization
