Power system protection Team lead – Relay specialist.

Main responsibilities:

Protection relays engineering including FDS, IO List, logics preparation as per customer specs and support in customer approvals.

Relay configuration for overall project with schemes like Auto changeover , Reverse blocking , UV trip etc with 61850 goose implementation and based on customer specific requirements

Testing of schemes with configured relays and demonstrating the same to customers in FAT.

Managing team for ensuring on time delivery on Relay engineering documents , configuration files and supporting FAT for MV AIS / GIS panels

Training customers on protection relays.

Candidate should possess:

Advanced level knowledge on medium voltage IEC standards, Power system networks, fault levels, Primary and Secondary Medium voltage Air and Gas insulated switchgears, Compact substations, Ring main units & general protection features.

Knowledge of IS/IEC standards applicable for Protection relays

Hands on Experience/knowledge on siemens relays and their configuration software like Digsi 4, Digsi 5 , Reydisp manager

Knowledge and hands on experience on competitor relays will be added advantage.

Advanced Knowledge of Protection and control Philosophy

Experience in relay setting calculation will be added advantage.

Capable to interact independently with client and consultants for technical discussions

Experience in handling major customers like Reliance, Tata Power, Adani and Engineering consultant like EIL, TCE etc

Fast learning ability as key competence, good verbal and written communication skills, Collaborative approach, growth mindset

Education: : B.E. in Electrical Engineering with 15+ Years of relevant Experience
