As the YouTube Marketing Manager, you will manage end-to-end video campaigns, collaborate with influencers, and align video content strategies with overall business goals to maximize engagement and ROI.
Key Responsibilities
- YouTube Content Strategy: Lead the full lifecycle of video content creation-from ideation to production and distribution-on YouTube, ensuring alignment with business objectives and marketing goals. Develop strategies leveraging the latest video trends and audience engagement practices.
- Viral Video Creation: Conceptualize and produce high-impact, shareable video content that resonates with enterprise and SMB audiences and drives channel growth.
- YouTube SEO & Optimization: Implement best practices for YouTube SEO, including keyword research, thumbnail creation, metadata optimization, and effective use of tags and playlists to maximize video discoverability.
- Team Leadership & Collaboration: Oversee internal teams and manage external partners, such as studios, influencers, and agencies, to create top-tier video content. Foster effective coordination for seamless project execution.
- Influencer & Collaborative Campaigns: Curate and lead YouTube influencer-driven video campaigns, building a robust network of collaborators to amplify brand reach and engagement.
- Data-Driven Strategy: Analyze YouTube Analytics and other performance metrics to gauge the effectiveness of video content and refine strategies to enhance viewer retention, engagement, and channel growth.
- Cross-Platform Content Integration: Create and manage diverse video formats, including live streams, webinars, and short-form content, to expand brand presence on YouTube and other video platforms.
- Hands-On Production: Be skilled in both on-camera and behind-the-scenes production, handling technical aspects like shooting, editing, and post-production of YouTube videos.
- Content Innovation: Utilize a deep understanding of video content virality to consistently produce engaging, trend-setting YouTube content.
- Strategic Alignment: Ensure all YouTube initiatives are strategically aligned with the company's broader marketing and business objectives, driving measurable results.
- Entrepreneurial Leadership: Approach video projects with innovation and an entrepreneurial mindset. Lead initiatives that explore new growth and engagement avenues.
- Experience: 3-5 years in a video content lead or video marketing role, preferably with experience managing a YouTube channel for a brand or agency.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in producing viral YouTube video content with tangible engagement and growth metrics.
- Collaborative Network: A strong network of studios, influencers, and agencies for collaborative projects.
- Multi-Format Expertise: Proficiency in producing diverse video formats, including live streams, webinars, and short-form content.
- Social Media Proficiency: Active presence on YouTube and other social media platforms, with a proven track record of amplifying video content across channels.
- SEO & Analytics Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of YouTube SEO best practices and the ability to analyze metrics for strategy refinement.
- Technical Production Skills: Hands-on experience in video shooting, editing, and YouTube-specific production practices.
- Leadership & Teamwork: Excellent leadership skills with the ability to guide teams and collaborate effectively.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Preference for ex-founders, independent creators, or professionals with a strong entrepreneurial approach.
