Job Title – Material Management Coordinator

Responsibilities

  • Updating the agreed prices in SAP as per the latest price list ,Checking the Price difference in Purchase Order,
  • support in RFQ process & creating info record and source list
  • Ensured timely issuance of purchase orders (PO), confirmations, and on-time payments.
  • Coordinate with vendors for delivery status, meeting service levels, and inventory targets.
  • Formulated material procurement plan as per the production plan; coordinated with planning
  • department as per the allocation convert Purchase requisition (PR) to Purchase Order (PO) to vendor.
  • Prepared logistics plan and led the team to schedule timely delivery of products & packages at the
  • specified destination.
  • Worked with global supply chain, transportation and logistics teams, and software teams to identify
  • new features and projects.
  • Organized transportation activities, including storage of goods, managing information accrued from
  • the point of origin to delivery, orchestrating transportation movements, and arranging for services as
  • necessary.
  • Performed Vendor discussions, preliminary negotiations, approval of comparatives, Follow-up,
  • expediting, coordination, guidance for logistics and administering and evaluating vendor capacity to
  • meet material and service needs.
  • Monitored purchase order placement time and delivery time to ensure within the KPI and took
  • corrective actions such as counselling the supplier in case of low delivery performance.
  • Monitored air/sea/trucking/network optimization guidelines related to freight for timely delivery and
  • best possible transportation rates.
  • Scheduled the materials to meet the production volume. Planned the permit given to the transporter,
  • controlling the warehouse management.
  • Ensured most of the orders are attempted for delivery with the agreed SLAs with PLs and therefore
  • ensuring Speed of delivery is maintained below-defined threshold.

Requirements And Skills

  • Any Arts/Commerce Graduate with MM experience of 1-3 years only.
  • Familiarity with supply chain and inventory management systems
  • Understanding of forecasting and budgeting
  • Working knowledge of SAP MM
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • A problem-solver
