Gen24 Flybiz offers comprehensive services for aspiring pilots, airlines, and training organisations. In 2025, the Avion Flight Training Centre Mumbai - operated by Gen24 - will be opened.


At our facility, pilots can train on state-of-the-art Full Flight Simulators (FFS) and Flight Navigation Procedures Trainer (FNPTII) devices. Currently, our centre operates two Airbus A320neo Full Flight Simulators from Avion and an A320 FNPTII for APS MCC training, built by Simnest. Over the coming years, we will expand to six to eight Full Flight Simulators, including additional Airbus A320s and Boeing 737 MAX devices, providing comprehensive training solutions for airlines and individual pilots.


Tasks

The IT Executive will be responsible for supporting, monitoring, and maintaining the complete IT infrastructure used in the operation of Level-D full-flight simulators. This includes system networks, simulator support computers, operating systems, backup systems, secure communications, and IT-based compliance processes as per DGCA and OEM guidelines.


Simulator IT Systems Support



  • Manage and support simulator-related IT infrastructure, including host computers, IOS stations, server hardware, network switches, and storage.

  • Support OEM tools, diagnostic applications, and monitoring software.

  • Assist with simulator data loading, software updates, and database management.

  • Perform routine backups and restoration of critical simulator configurations.


IT Infrastructure & Network Administration



  • Administer LAN, Wi-Fi, firewalls, switches, and routers.

  • Maintain secure connectivity between simulator systems and corporate networks.

  • Implement cybersecurity policies as per DGCA and organisational standards.

  • Monitor server performance, network health, and system uptime.


DGCA Compliance & Documentation



  • Maintain IT documentation required for DGCA audits.

  • Support the Quality Department during DGCA inspections and QTG runs.

  • Ensure integrity and traceability of simulator data files.


Operational Support



  • Provide real-time IT support during simulator sessions.

  • Troubleshoot errors and coordinate with OEM support.

  • Assist in preventive maintenance schedules.


General IT Support



  • Maintain office IT systems, including desktops, laptops, printers, and AV systems.

  • Support email systems, software installation, and licensing.

  • Monitor antivirus and endpoint security systems.


Requirements

Essential



  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, or equivalent.

  • 2–5 years of experience in IT support; aviation/simulator experience preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux OS, networking, backups, and cybersecurity.


Preferred



  • Experience with flight simulators or OEM systems.

  • Knowledge of DGCA regulatory requirements.

  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure in a 24/7 environment.

  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.


Work Schedule


Shift duties may be required (24/7 simulator operations).
