Production Assistant Apprentice

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the production team with planning and coordination of daily production activities.
• Support live PCR (Production Control Room) operations during live sports broadcasts.
• Coordinate logistics for on-ground and studio productions, including scheduling and travel arrangements for talent and crew.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure smooth and timely execution of production deliverables.
• Maintain production trackers, timelines, call sheets, and documentation for assigned projects.
• Observe and learn key aspects of live production such as camera operations, audio, lighting, and on-air graphics.
• Provide administrative and operational support to the production team as needed.

Skills Required

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Basic understanding of production control workflows and broadcast operations.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, high-pressure sports production environment.
• Strong attention to detail, teamwork mindset, and a proactive attitude.

Education:

Any graduate degree with a background or coursework in media production, mass communication, film studies, or a related field.
