Data Analyst

Beamer is looking for a talented Data Analyst to drive data adoption across our entire organization. We are seeking someone with expertise in Python data processing, analysis, reporting, and visualization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collaborating with our data platform and data science team to build out a wide variety of ETLs, analyses, and reporting with interactive data visualizations using Python data tooling (primarily within Jupyter and Streamlit) that provide actionable insights for all parts of the business. They will also be responsible for championing data within our organization and working with stakeholders to ensure that data is being effectively actioned upon as part of fostering a data-driven culture.

Responsibilities

• Support various functional leaders in the development of strategic data analysis.
• Collaborate with data engineers and scientists to build out data capabilities across the organization.
• Build out analyses, dashboards, and interactive data apps using common Python data analysis libraries and frameworks.
• Develop ETLs to enrich and optimize data sources within a data lake when needed.
• Manipulate and visualize a wide variety of data from varying sources using Python.
• Work within cross-functional teams to define and refine data requirements.
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of all data representations.
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of Experience.
• Strong understanding of SaaS business data analysis strategy and typical views.
• Strong proficiency with Python, including data analysis/manipulation libraries such as Pandas and Jupyter.
• Strong proficiency with SQL for querying from data lakes/warehouses, including advanced joins and CTEs.
• Experience using GitHub as a collaborative coding tool.
• Familiarity with interactive data visualization libraries like Plotly and Streamlit.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, especially when it comes to data presentation.
