Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in problem-solving, review or assessment with digital content.
  • Experience with data analysis and spreadsheet software.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with international issues including freedom of expression, online controversial content, cyber crime, etc.
  • Experience in content policy, anti-abuse, and reviewing online content with identifying abuse trends or working in news or policy.
  • Experience with SQL and spreadsheets.
  • Excellent business judgment, collaboration, communication and investigative skills with using data to drive strategy and business actions.
  • Excellent attention to detail with time management and organization skills.

About the jobFast-paced, dynamic, and proactive, YouTube’s Trust & Safety team is dedicated to making YouTube a safe place for users, viewers, and content creators around the world to create, and express themselves. Whether understanding and solving their online content concerns, navigating within global legal frameworks, or writing and enforcing worldwide policy, the Trust & Safety team is on the frontlines of enhancing the YouTube experience, building internet safety, and protecting free speech in our ever-evolving digital world.

In this role, you will ensure we deliver performance goals for escalations of questionable content. You will manage the response to these escalations globally and use a variety of tools, communications, and facilitation methods to ensure issues are triaged and the right stakeholders are involved in resolution. You will also help test new processes, systems, and infrastructure to manage escalations, while also contributing input. You will work with data around incidents and search for trends, impact, and possible improvements. You will review graphic, controversial, and offensive video content in line with YouTube’s Community Guidelines.At YouTube, we believe that everyone deserves to have a voice, and that the world is a better place when we listen, share, and build community through our stories. Responsibilities

  • Review violative and controversial video content which may include graphic or violent content in line with YouTube’s Community Guidelines.
  • Enforce YouTube’s content policies and ensure quality policy enforcement, as part of the Hyderabad Content Specialist team.
  • Manage escalations in the content policy space while ensuring quality enforcement and written communication and policy analysis.
  • Provide insights from content review that drives future Policy and Enforcement Operations improvements.
