Responsibilities
About the Role:
Service Collection team is looking for an exceptional Chief of Staff to partner closely with our Head of Product and extended leadership team and provide strategic support in managing day-to-day operations, driving cross-functional alignment, and fostering effective decision-making. The Chief of Staff will serve as a trusted advisor to our Head of Product and other senior executives, enabling seamless communication, orchestrating key initiatives, and ensuring successful execution. This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Some Of The Great Work You Will Do
- Strategic Support: Collaborate with the Head of Product and executive team to define and execute Atlassian's strategic goals and initiatives, ensuring alignment across the organization.
- Drive and orchestrate key business rhythms—including OKRs, Periodic Business Reviews (WBRs), and exec reviews—to ensure alignment, accountability, and progress across the organization.
- Operations Optimization: Streamline operational processes, identify opportunities for efficiency gains, and drive effective resource allocation to enhance overall productivity.
- Cross-functional Coordination: Facilitate collaboration and communication among different departments and teams, ensuring alignment and fostering a culture of transparency and shared goals.
- Project Management: Lead and support strategic projects and initiatives spanning across Service Collection, overseeing timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes.
- Data Analysis and Insights: Gather and analyze relevant data to generate insights, identify trends, and support evidence-based decision-making at the executive level.
- Change Management: Champion and support organizational change efforts, facilitating smooth transitions and fostering a culture of adaptability and continuous improvement.

- Extensive professional experience solving complex problems in fast-growing organizations.
- Experience turning strategy into executable plans and driving high visibility projects, using facilitative leadership to build trust, influence collaboration, and coach toward the goal.
- The ability to understand the needs of different audiences and disseminate information, adjusting the level and type of information at the right time accordingly.
- An analytic prowess, drive to support decisions with data, and the ability to make data digestible to varied audiences.
