IDFC FIRST Bank is a leading financial institution that is committed to providing innovative and customer-centric solutions to individuals and businesses. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Branch Sales Manager to join our team in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

As the Branch Sales Manager for our Micro Business Loans division, you will be responsible for driving sales and achieving business targets for the assigned branch. You will be a key member of the Retail Banking team and will report directly to the Regional Sales Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business targets for Micro Business Loans in the assigned branch
  • Identify and acquire new customers through various channels such as cold calling, referrals, and networking
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential business opportunities and stay updated on industry trends
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient loan processing and disbursement
  • Train and mentor sales team members to improve their performance and achieve individual and team targets
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and take necessary actions to drive sales growth
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the banking or financial services industry
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
  • Strong understanding of the Micro Business Loans market and industry trends
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve common goals
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region as needed

Additional Parameters

  • Fluency in local language (Gujarati) is preferred
  • Knowledge of local market and customer base is a plus
