• General Ledger & Journal Entries
• Prepare, post, and accurately classify journal entriesincluding accruals, prepayments, and miscellaneous entriesto ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
  
  

Account Reconciliation

• Perform regular balance sheet and account reconciliations, promptly resolving any variances or discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records.
  
  

Financial Analysis & Reporting

• Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances.
• Prepare and distribute financial reports and statements (monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc) for management review.
• Provide insights into the companys financial health.
  
  

Audit Support

• Support both internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and addressing auditor inquiries.
  
  

Compliance

• Ensure all accounting activities, records, and processes comply with company policies, accounting standards (such as GAAP or IFRS), regulatory requirements, and internal controls (e.g., SOX).
  
  

Collaboration & Teamwork

• Work closely with other finance teams (such as FP&A) and departments to gather information, support business operations, and streamline workflows.
• Demonstrate experience in team handling and timely resolution of intra-team issues.
  
  

Process Improvement

• Identify and implement opportunities to improve the efficiency and accuracy of general ledger and accounting processes.
• Adapt to different operating company (opco) policies as required.
  
  

Preferred candidate profile:-

• B.Com/CA Intern/MBA Finance from 5 to 9 yrs/CA in GL and Audit
• Proficiency with accounting software (ERP systems like SAP or Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
• Several years of experience in general ledger accounting.
• Proficiency with accounting principles and practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines & ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
