Compliance Analyst, Compliance

Amazon

Date: 2 weeks ago
City: Bengaluru, Karnataka
Contract type: Full time
Description

We are seeking a Compliance Analyst to join our Compliance team. In this role, you will support the Compliance function in ensuring adherence to applicable RBI regulations, internal policies, governance frameworks, and regulatory obligations. You will serve as a coordinator within the Compliance Department, driving compliance reviews, regulatory monitoring, stakeholder coordination, and maintenance of compliance records.

Key job responsibilities

Monitor RBI circulars, notifications, master directions, and regulatory developments; assist in regulatory impact assessment and implementation tracking.

Assist in conducting periodic compliance reviews and thematic assessments per the approved Compliance Monitoring Plan; perform testing of regulatory controls and identify compliance gaps.

Support preparation of regulatory submissions, internal compliance reports, Board/Committee updates, and ensure compliance records are audit ready.

Coordinate with business and support functions for compliance confirmations, follow up on closure of compliance actions, and act as the Compliance SPOC for assigned business functions.

Coordinate annual outsourcing reviews, track vendor compliance submissions, and escalate gaps or non-compliances to senior Compliance management.

Support RBI inspections, internal/statutory audits, and special reviews; coordinate responses to audit observations and track closure of findings.

A day in the life

You'll start your day by reviewing the latest RBI circulars and regulatory updates, assessing their impact on Amazon's operations. You'll coordinate with cross-functional teams — business, operations, risk, technology, and finance — to facilitate implementation of regulatory requirements and ensure timely closure of compliance actions.

You'll conduct compliance testing, prepare management reports, and maintain governance documentation. No two days are the same — you might be supporting an RBI inspection one day and driving a compliance awareness initiative the next. You'll work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and strong follow-through are essential.
