Visa Officer

Your responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end VISA application processes, ensuring timely submissions and compliance with all regulations.
• Coordinate with employees to gather required information and documentation for VISA applications.
• Ensure the accuracy of all submitted documents and rectify any discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain updated records of all applications and communicate status updates to employees regularly.
• Liaise with diplomatic missions, employees, and internal teams to facilitate the VISA process.
• Provide guidance and consultation to employees regarding VISA requirements and application procedures.
• Handle any issues or challenges that arise during the VISA application process promptly and efficiently.
• Keep abreast of changes in VISA regulations and update employee information as necessary.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring employee satisfaction and fostering positive relationships.
• Assist expatriates and their families in FRRO registration upon arrival in India.
• Process employment visa and dependent visa extensions before expiry.
• Handle passport change, and address change updates with FRRO and ensure records are updated.
• Process Transfer requests when required.
• Ensure timely submission of C-Form (mandatory hotel/tenant registration for foreigners).
• Maintain and track all visa-related records, renewal timelines, and compliance requirements.
• Assist expatriates in case of FRRO visits, interviews, or additional document requests.

Your profile

• Bachelor's degree in international relations or an equivalent degree.
• 5+ years of experience in visa & FRRO processing and documentation.
• Specialized in handling visa and visa applications
• Proven experience in VISA management, with a focus on filing and processing applications in a timely and accurate manner.
• Strong knowledge of the entire VISA process, including submission procedures and required documentation.
• Proficiency in managing both individual and group VISA applications, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple applications and prioritize effectively.
• Attention to detail to ensure all submitted documents are accurate and meet the specific requirements of each application.
• Effective communication skills, capable of liaising with employees, embassies, and internal departments to ensure smooth processing.
• Problem-solving skills to address and resolve any issues arising during the VISA application process.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high standard of work.
• Regular process updates for Visa & FRRO processes.
