Utilize effective sales techniques to close sales with prospective customers
Calculate premiums and establish payment methods for selling insurance
Customize insurance programs to suit individual customer needs, often covering a variety of risks
Inspect property, examining its general condition, type of construction, age, and other characteristics, to decide if it is a good insurance risk
Perform administrative tasks, such as maintaining records and handling policy renewals
Qualifications
Proven work experience as a Health Insurance Sales Agent
Knowledge of different types of insurance plans including health, life, and disability
Familiarity with computer programs, including MS Office and insurance-related software
Ability to work towards targets
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable with a capability to maintain confidentiality
