Job Purpose
This position is for CNH Pune plant & person will resonsible to handle inbound transportation (both domestic & import) for Pune plants.This position involves all acitivities starting from pickup from suppliers (local & outstationed) to delivery components to Pune plant on time/ as per plant requirement. Person will work in close cordination with all providers & al internal customers to meet required delivery targets.
Key Responsibilities
Job requirements-
Candidate should be self-driven & can work in close coordination with plant with having good coordination & communication skills.
Candidate should well equipped proficiency to work in Power Bi, ERP- LN, MS Excel, MS word, Power point.
Candidate must have experience to handle domestic & import shipments & should have sound knowledge of Indian custom procedures/complicacies.
Candidate should have sound knowledge of item classification, HS code and Customs notification.
Has an experience of using OTM and Project44 & will responsible to share & implement saving ideas towards customer focus, adapt best practices & digitalization.
Responsibilities-
Domestic operations
Coordinate with domestic logistics provider for ontime shipment pickup to ontime delivery to the plant & ensure shioments should route follow OTM & Projects44
Responsible to manage local shuttle movements & pickups for out stationed suppliers & ensure delivery KPI should met..Perform shipment reconciliation and tracking based on indents released and ensure timely delivery to plant.
Responsible to prepare and manage E-Way Bills where ever required..
Ensure compliance with Incoterms, PR, PO, statutory regulations, and internal documentation requirements.
Import operations
Co-ordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, CHA & domestic provider from shipment pickup to deliver to plant.
Follow up with CHA for Checklist for import shipments.
Verification of Import checklist as per invoice/PO, AWB/ BL or license, if any & ensure timely BOE filling and BOE print.
Making of custom duty request in ERP-LN and forwarding it to finance.
Agility in addressing issues like shipment delays, customs disputes, or damaged goods.
Submission of proper reply & declaration letter for customs’ query and coordinate with CHA/ customs official to resolve the issue asap.
Coordinate with CHA & share daily delivery plan for shipments getting custom cleared.
Reportings-
Prepare, maintain, and monitor shipments status thru daily MIS reports, OTM & P44 & sharing it with plant.
Responsible to share monthly reports related to freight, SIT, saving etc to all finance & cost controllers.
Responsible to monitor KPI performance of all providers & have monthly review with them.
Payments
Verify vendor invoices against agreements and rate contracts & process for on-time payment in ERP LN.
Controlling of vendor’s service bills and its timely payment & ageing summary of each supplier.
Experience Required
8~12 years
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s/ Masters in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Business or a related field or Graduate having hand on experience on Domestic & import logistics.
