Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tier 1 and 2 technical support to end-users for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, including system crashes, application errors, and network problems.
- Install, configure, and update operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and company-approved software.
- Assist with setting up and maintaining user accounts, profiles, and permissions in Active Directory.
- Manage and support desktop virtualization technologies like VMware or Citrix.
- Maintain and troubleshoot network connections, including LAN, WAN, and wireless configurations.
- Respond to and track help desk tickets, ensuring timely and efficient resolution.
- Perform routine system maintenance tasks such as data backups, software updates, and security patching.
- Ensure that all IT assets are logged and managed in the asset management system.
- Provide remote support via phone, email, and remote desktop tools.
- Train and assist users in the effective use of hardware and software.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to implement IT policies, procedures, and security measures.
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of audio-visual equipment for meetings and presentations.
- Document technical issues, solutions, and procedures in the knowledge base.
