Your Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for his teams daily output in Shift and KPI Monitoring (Eg.2 hourly reports, Utilization etc.)
• Ensure shop floor cleanliness and maintain standards and orderliness as per “5S” principles and follow all safety standards as per laid down procedures.
• Shop floor discipline of his team (absenteeism, late coming & missing from workstation etc.). Sanctioning of leaves / Overtime after discussion and approval from PV’s.
• The team leader is the first face of implementing the safety and environmental standard requirement as per Schaeffler’s approved procedures.
• He carries out his daily checks for adherence and proactively highlights any issue and coordinates with the various departments to get this corrected.
• Basic Trouble Shooting and Machine Setups and adherence to S.O.P.
• Provide Training on Basic Machine Operating Procedures, Critical Parameters etc. to the new joining operators. Support the assessment process of Operators and provide feedback to PV’s for Performance Assessment.
• Production posting in SAP, rejection movement, Work order Completion and communicate issues with overlapping Shift Team Leader’s.
• To comply and to fulfill the requirements of AAR (Association of American Rail Road ) and IRIS (International Railway Industry Standard)
  
  

In addition to the duties listed above, the position holder must carry out tasks assigned by his supervisor that are essentially related to his duties.

Your Qualifications

Diploma in Engineering with 5 years, ITI + NCVT with 7 years, Engineering Graduate with 1 or 2 years of experience.
