Job Title: Supply Chain Manager – Construction Materials

Location: Delhi, India

About Universal Construction Hub (UCH.AI):

UCH.AI is pioneering the transformation of the construction industry through its cutting-edge, AI-powered platform. As a funded startup, our mission is to empower construction companies to win more projects and eliminate operational inefficiencies. By leveraging technology, we enable firms to optimize business development, foster collaboration, and make informed, data-driven decisions.

At UCH.AI, we foster a culture rooted in innovation, agility, and operational excellence. We are committed to making a meaningful impact in the infrastructure ecosystem and are actively seeking driven professionals to join us on this journey of transformation.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced, analytical, and execution-focused Supply Chain Manager to lead procurement and material delivery operations across our construction portfolio. The ideal candidate will have 8–10 years of experience in the B2B construction materials industry, with a demonstrated ability to manage sourcing, vendor networks, and logistical operations across pan-India projects. This role demands expertise in aggregates, cement, concrete, and other core construction materials, alongside a strategic mindset for scaling operations within a fast-paced, tech-enabled ecosystem.

This role is best suited for professionals who have worked with construction contractors, EPCs, material aggregators, or OEMs, and have deep familiarity with managing end-to-end supply chain functions for infrastructure development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the complete procurement lifecycle, from sourcing to delivery, ensuring availability of critical materials like aggregates, RMC, cement, and other bulk supplies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, manufacturers, and material vendors to ensure continuity, quality, and cost-efficiency.
  • Drive the development of material sales pipelines aligned with regional demand, project timelines, and seasonal construction cycles.
  • Manage logistics workflows, optimize inventory levels, and reduce turnaround time for project material delivery.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and business teams to ensure synchronization between on-site needs and backend supply processes.
  • Leverage digital tools and supply chain analytics to streamline vendor tracking, order fulfillment, and performance dashboards.
  • Ensure material quality compliance and cost control mechanisms, and lead negotiations for long-term procurement contracts.
  • Lead and mentor procurement staff, logistics coordinators, and vendor partners to execute operational targets with precision.

Required Qualifications:

  • B.Tech/B.E. in Civil, Mechanical, Supply Chain, or a related field (MBA preferred but not mandatory).
  • 8–10 years of relevant experience in supply chain/procurement in the construction materials space.
  • Deep understanding of sourcing and vendor management for cement, concrete, aggregates, steel, and construction consumables.
  • Strong track record in managing procurement for infra projects, real estate sites, or material-tech platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems, procurement software, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and cross-functional coordination skills.

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience in EPC firms, material aggregators, or construction contractors.
  • Exposure to pan-India or regional vendor management networks.
  • Understanding of regulatory compliances and logistical practices in infra supply chains.
  • Experience managing procurement operations in real estate, roads, railways, or industrial infrastructure projects.

What We Offer:

  • A pivotal operational role in a fast-scaling AI-driven construction-tech startup.
  • Opportunity to design and lead the material supply ecosystem across high-impact infra projects.
  • Dynamic work culture that rewards innovation, autonomy, and domain expertise.
  • Competitive compensation package with performance-linked incentives and potential equity benefits.
  • A chance to contribute to the digital transformation of India’s infrastructure sector.
