You will be part of our Contract Logistics team adding your expertise + skills to the planning of our distribution operations.
Your Role
You will be a key member of a dynamic operational team that is responsible for the efficient execution of distribution in order to achieve all agreed financial + operational objectives.
Your Responsibilities
The activities needed to deliver these objectives include:
A degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business; certifications like CILT/CLTD are a plus.
8+ years of experience in transport/logistics, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
Expertise in transport planning, cost control, and regulatory compliance.
Experience in managing teams, subcontractors, and driving productivity improvements.
Strong background in customer onboarding, retention, and business growth support.
Proficiency in TMS, fleet tracking tools, and performance analysis.

Your Role

- To work closely with both warehouse + distribution teams, ensuring efficient transport plans are produced in line with timelines + customer requirements.
- To assist in achieving key performance indicators (KPI) in the areas of cost management, productivity, customer service + profit.
- You will have access to state of the art systems + tools, to continually challenge the status quo to deliver improvements.
- To support all activities relating to customer on-boarding, retention + operational excellence; collaborating with others as required.
- To actively support new initiatives focusing on continuous improvement at all times, meeting or exceeding productivity targets.
- To contribute information when required for reporting + performance management.
