  • You ensure and improve the supplier quality in the assigned area in your location
  • You implement SQM requirements regarding preventive actions, technical specifications, and qualification of suppliers
  • Act as SQM contact in cross functional teams
  • You locally support the global SQM community
  • Supplier incident rate (SIR), supplier failure rate (SFR), supplier caused NCCs, claim rate.

Responsibilities:

  • Qualifies and approves suppliers, in cooperation with purchasing
  • Coordinates product/service qualifications and approvals based on specific requirements/specification (Ready to order)
  • Creates, negotiates, and monitor quality assurance agreements implementation in the supplier processes
  • You plan and execute Supplier Audits including follow ups of respective measures implementation
  • Alignment with incoming inspection on complaint management
  • Supports standardized supplier qualification process according to corporate guidelines (Ready for business)

Competencies:

  • 5+ years of experience in different areas of production
  • Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent
  • Core quality methods like FMEA, 8D methodology, Ishikawa Diagram, 5Why and VSM are well known
  • You are an experienced and certified auditor for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 according to VDA 6.3
  • Communication and presentation skills are a must have
  • English and local language on a professional level
