If so, our team would love to have you! As part of the Edge computing product engineering team, you will develop and improve new and existing features and be exposed to the full product lifecycle. You’ll help build and support Edge computing product with various Virtualization, cloud platforms across its broad customer install base, and you’ll have an ownership stake in the product’s future.

Riverbed’s unique Edge computing product is a data management solution primarily designed to address the challenges of managing data in remote and branch offices. It offers a unique approach to data management by creating a virtual and efficient copy of on-premises storage at the branch location with an Edge appliance, providing local access to the remote data, improving performance and reducing latency.

What You Will Do

• Work on various storage protocols like iSCSI, FC and NFS across different enterprise level storage array and popular cloud service providers and virtualization vendors
• Design, implement, and unit test Edge computing product features, with end-to-end responsibility for feature success throughout the development lifecycle
• Troubleshoot, debug, and fix in market product capabilities
• Collaborate across Riverbed teams on various cross-products like Steelcentral controller and SteelHead features and initiatives
• Work in an agile environment with a regular release cadence
• Work closely with the Riverbed engineering in Bangalore
  
  

What Makes You An Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 8+ years of hands-on software development experience with a strong emphasis on product architecture and design
• At least 5 years of experience in any of the following areas:
• Applications built over various storage protocols (iSCSI, FC/NFS)
• Virtualization technologies (ESXi, KVM, HyperV)
• Development of filesystem-centric applications
• Expert-level knowledge of Linux, Windows, and storage technologies.
