What is the Sr Operations Analyst, Security Services – Fiduciary Operations Group responsible for?
- Assist operations Analyst by reviewing the daily work, resolving and addressing issues as they occur. Ensure accuracy of all transactions of Trade settlements, corporate actions and foreign and domestic securities processing. As experience is gained; Sr Analyst will guide Analyst on complex transaction processing within the group. Requires the ability to gather & research information, resolve problems, and work well in daily deadline-oriented environment. Also requires the ability to work on multiple problems at the same time and to keep all appropriate personnel informed of current activity and events. This would entail dealing with various internal contact persons, therefore it requires excellent communication skills.
- Responsibilities include the review for the processing of volumes related security transactions. Requires sound knowledge on financial markets. Requires ability to co-ordinate with the Technology teams and various internal sources to ensure all the requests are processed effectively and efficiently with the timelines. Must be well acquainted with Client statements and adhere to the procedures set forth with this job description.
- Follow up with staff and ensure all processes are completed accurately and timely.
- Take action on any items requiring follow up and ensuring necessary personnel are notified.
- Review and approve foreign/International payments which are submitted for repatriation.
- Escalate with Custodian on discrepancies which are identified in Fixed Income payments.
- Research and assess the security setup in our systems if coupons bonds are paying differently than the scheduled.
- Evaluate the second scouring of corporate action for payments which are in discrepancies; post thorough analysis make necessary adjustments in our systems or challenge the custodian accordingly.
- Review the domestic and international trades, analyze the exceptions, work with internal and external stakeholders for resolution.
- Reviewing posted free receives transactions in client accounts with accurate cost details & outgoing assets to other custodian (Domestic & Global assets)
- Private Placement Transactions and wires To be Announced.
- Exercise and Puts with Options Clearing Corp and broker.
- Review and approve/reject mutual fund trades within Charles River for affiliated fund purchases
- Weekly reporting for pending trades with outstanding documentation
