The reporting line would be directly to the Estimating Supervisor. The candidate would coordinate with Regional Sales Managers, Account Managers, other estimating/ Sales Support resources, and support on the global estimating team.
The following would be main responsibilities but not limited to:

The reporting line would be directly to the Estimating Supervisor. The candidate would coordinate with Regional Sales Managers, Account Managers, other estimating/ Sales Support resources, and support on the global estimating team.
The following would be main responsibilities but not limited to:
- Complete Ownership of Proposal Estimation Deliveries for Field Instruments Portfolio.
- Interact directly with team and sales to establish requirements of proposal making.
- Take an active part in the development, coordination, and implement the standard Global PMC-P&E sales support. Estimating templates and processes in the region and leveraging the use of Global Sales Support Tools like CPQ through Salesforce, Web Channel, SAP, etc. for professional proposals that demonstrate business benefits.
- Follow required workflow and other processes within the team.
- Consolidate and maintain the Proposal log.
- Co-ordinate & support the overall workload of Estimation with other team leaders globally.
- Manage assigned tasks effectively and efficiently in a team environment.
- Complete responsibility for Proposal Submission for Parts/Products/Project Inquiries coming in globally.
- Work and coordinate with RSM and sourcing Team for support on 3rd party, sales/ account managers for the respective region in making proposals. The scope contains both Honeywell and third-party products.
- Communicate with internal and external customers in an easily understood manner.
- Using detailed customer specifications and requirements, prepare proposals maximizing value demonstration.
- Select the proper combination of hardware, software, equipment, materials, and services to deliver the highest value to the customer while supporting overall Honeywell business objectives.
- Preparing the Techno- Commercial Proposals in standardized format as well as handling all the TQs and responses.
- Providing cost-related information using SAP whenever required.
- Handles customer queries as required; provides customer assistance in tasks associated with the sales process.
- Ensure and manage all standard and non-standard factory order deliverables for Field Instruments & Modular Systems orders. This could also include 3rd party products.
- Co-ordinate with other stakeholders like OMT, Sourcing, Sales, Factory, Engineering, Vendors, etc to provide necessary support on order deliverables and executions.
- Possible direct Customer Interactions and ensure all compliance to order execution requirements and increase customer satisfaction, by providing necessary support.
- People Management: Manage personal time and workflow to meet established goals of the team.
- Work with Principal Networks & Contact Links – internal (Global PMC-P&E. Sales Support & Order Execution Organization, Regional Sales Manager, Local sales teams in the line of business, Customer service and finance team, GTS TAC organization, Order Management Team, Sourcing Team) and external (Direct and End Customers, Channel partners/distributors/ System Integrators/Original Equipment Manufacturers).
- Knowledge of Oil & Gas market.
- Knowledge of Field Instrumentation products measurement principles - Level, Temperature, Pressure, Flow, and other process instruments. Modular Systems like PLC, RTU, DCS & SCADA.
- Knowledge of products and solutions in industrial automation.
- Understanding of customers’ business including decision making and buying processes.
- Exceptional knowledge of internal sales processes and systems required to provide superb customer service.
- Understand the value proposition of Honeywell and all the company has to offer.
- Experience and knowledge of our customer’s businesses and drivers.
- Understanding of major competition and their product features and functionalities.

Requirements
- Education Required:
- BE degree – Preferred in: Instrumentation Engineering or Automation Technology
- Work Experience Required:
- 8-10+years of experience in industrial sales/ sales support for Field Instrumentation,
- Experience in supporting customers/end users in multiple verticals and networking with OEMs, EPCs, and consultants.
- Experience in understanding different cultures and the customer buying process within a region can be an added advantage.
- Language Requirements:
- Fluent in English (Written & Oral)

- Travel:
- 10% Travel required for Customer and supplier visits as per requirements.
- Flexibility to work in global time zones to support global Sales teams.
