Job Summary
Responsible for Coal Handling Plant & Railway yard (Transformer, HT & LT Motor, HT & LT Switchgear, UPS, Battery charger, Battery bank, Coal Sampling system, MOV, Lift, Hoist, EOT, Travel Tippers, Stacker reclaimer, Wagon tippler) equipment and plant lighting maintenance for improving overall plant performance. Also, help in Implementation of maintenance strategy of electrical system.

Responsible for Coal Handling Plant & Railway yard (Transformer, HT & LT Motor, HT & LT Switchgear, UPS, Battery charger, Battery bank, Coal Sampling system, MOV, Lift, Hoist, EOT, Travel Tippers, Stacker reclaimer, Wagon tippler) equipment and plant lighting maintenance for improving overall plant performance. Also, help in Implementation of maintenance strategy of electrical system.
Job Responsibilities
- To carry out maintenance work as standard maintenance Procedures (SMPs) with quality and safe work
- Maintain minimum lux level of illumination system in Coal Handling Plant & Railway Yard.
- Maintain AC system Coal Handling Plant & Railway Yard
- Regular discussion with team members (giving & taking feedback) for the day to day problems and find out the solutions for improving the condition of equipment
- Daily planning Meeting
- Motivate subordinate for energy conservation, good maintenance practices and safety practices etc.
- Root cause Analysis of failure of equipment/tripping. Why-why analysis to be done for the repetitive breakdowns
- Prepare Modification /system Improvement plan of quality/safety/environmental / energy saving plan
- Co-ordination & Interaction with other departments
- Provide an encouraging workplace climate.
- Ensure compliance of permit-to-work (PTW) system/ LOTO system to ensure zero accident.
- Planning for PM activities, Condition Monitoring of Equipment 100% PM of electrical equipment
- Attend Trouble shooting
- Execution of annual overhauling of electrical system within time frame on cost reduction and time management.
