Your impact
- Supervise international payroll team responsible for Australia and New Zealand.
- Oversee the ANZ payroll processing, ensure payroll is processed accurately and timely.
- Ensure compliance with payroll laws and regulations.
- Audit and approve payrolls.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, relevant to payroll requirements and internal controls.
- Communicate with internal customers to assist in resolving issues or questions.
- Partner with cross functional teams, HR, Benefits, IT and Finance to provide support as required.
- Provide payroll reporting as needed.
- Execute year end processing requirements as needed.
- Perform other country specific reconciliations and reporting.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Here's what you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Human Resources or Business Administration.
- Fluency in English, verbal and written.
- 5+ years of global payroll experience (Australian payroll experience is a must, New Zealand would be an asset), preferably with companies having 1,000+ employees.
- Practical knowledge of Australian payroll processing, general payroll policy, government regulation and tax requirements.
- Intermediate to advanced software skill and experience with Microsoft Excel, including pivots, lookups, filtering and sorting (VBA would be an asset).
- Ability to work under stressful conditions and meet strict deadlines required.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Strong leadership skills (experience in leading multinational team would be an asset).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
