The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing end-to-end network solutions for colocation (CoLo) facilities and integrating services such as ILL, MPLS, P2P, Cloud Connect, and advanced network security solutions.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing end-to-end network solutions for colocation (CoLo) facilities and integrating services such as ILL, MPLS, P2P, Cloud Connect, and advanced network security solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead the design and deployment of high-availability, scalable, and secure network architectures for colocation (CoLo) datacenters.
- Oversee physical and logical network layouts, including rack space management and cabling.
- Ensure compliance with business needs, regulatory standards, and operational best practices.
- Develop and implement network topologies supporting ILL, MPLS, P2P, and cloud connectivity.
- Architect and deploy SD-WAN solutions for branch-to-cloud and branch-to-branch communication.
- Integrate and optimize hybrid cloud networking with major providers like AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Design and provision N/W Security services, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and micro-segmentation.
- Ensure adherence to security best practices for data protection, threat management, and encryption.
- Monitor and improve access controls and security standards.
- Plan and execute network migrations, upgrades, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Optimize network performance through traffic engineering, monitoring, and proactive troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with delivery and sales teams for RFI/RFP responses, including strategy, solution review, and customer presentations.
- Create data center and cloud migration strategies tailored to customer needs.
- Document assumptions in SLAs, SOWs, and MSAs, incorporating stakeholder feedback.
- Define SLAs for network services and ensure consistent adherence.
- Manage vendor relationships and service contracts for hardware and connectivity solutions.
- Lead the installation, upgrading, and maintenance of LAN/WAN, wireless, and remote access infrastructure.
- Ensure effective design, operation, and maintenance of datacenter and cloud networking equipment (e.g., switches, routers, load balancers, firewalls).
- Evaluate and implement new technologies for network infrastructure through proof-of-concept initiatives.
- Stay updated on architectural models, including 3-tier, Spine-Leaf, and flat designs.
- Coordinate customer presentations and delivery reviews, ensuring alignment with technical and business goals.
- Develop offerings and co-create solutions with delivery and sales teams in cloud and IT-managed services.
- BE/B-Tech or equivalent with Computer Science/IT or Electronics & Communication
- CCNP/CCIE (Cisco Certified)
- JNCIP/JNCIE (Juniper Certified)
- AWS/Azure/GCP Network Certifications (Preferred)
- 14+ years of experience in network architecture, including datacenter build and operations.
- Worked on datacenter projects with colocation providers.
- Experience with ISP and telecom service provisioning for ILL and MPLS.
- Knowledge of automation tools for network operations (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
- Experience in standardizing RFP, RFQ & RFI responses, and pricing across different services
- Scripting and automation skills: JSON, Ansible, Terraform and Python.
- Certifications like Azure and AWS architects, network professional, Cisco/Palo Alto, ZScaler, etc. and Network & Security Certifications like CCNP, CCDP, CCIE, CEH, CISSP, CCSP, CISA, CISM, etc.
- Expertise in Design/operations and maintenance of telecommunications/networking equipment like switches, routers, etc. Person should have good experience in designing, configuring and managing top tier data centers, results oriented with broad IT infrastructure experience to mee the challenging business needs in a global environment.
- Routing protocols like EIGRP OSPF, IS-IS and BGP and At least one leading router series like CISCO: ISR 1k/2k/3k/4k and ASR series 1000, Juniper MX Series Routers, etc.
- Switch technologies: STP, RSTP, MST and vPC and at least one leading switch series like CISCO: NexUS 9k, 7k, 5k, 3k and 2k, and Juniper EX Series Switches, etc.
- DCI Technologies: VXLAN, OTV and LISP
- SDN/NFV/SDWAN technologies: Cisco ASI, VMWare NSX-T, Cisco Viptela, Silverpeak, ZScaler, etc.
- Scripting and automation skills: JSON, Ansible, Terraform and Python.
- Competent in people leadership, communication and presentation skills.
