Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Shift Manager to join our team at various locations including Ernakulam, Kozhikode, and Thrissur. This is a full-time junior position, suitable for candidates with up to 3 years of work experience. The Shift Manager will play a critical role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring efficient service delivery, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety within our establishments.

Qualifications And Skills

• Team Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team effectively towards achieving operational goals and ensuring quality service.
• Conflict Resolution: Proficient in identifying issues and implementing solutions to resolve conflicts quickly and effectively, maintaining a harmonious environment.
• Scheduling Software: Experience in using scheduling and workforce management software to plan and allocate staff shifts efficiently.
• Customer Service: Strong commitment to providing exceptional service and enhancing customer satisfaction through attentive and responsive engagement.
• POS Systems: Familiarity with Point of Sale systems to ensure smooth and accurate transaction handling and financial accountability.
• Inventory Management (Mandatory skill): Essential skill for tracking and managing stock levels to reduce waste and ensure availability of necessary supplies.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring adherence to company standards and objectives for quality and performance.
• Coordinate staff schedules, monitor labor costs, and optimize shift assignments to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Maintain inventory control by conducting regular audits and implementing inventory management strategies to minimize shrinkage.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, leading by example to promote a culture of safety and responsibility.
• Handle customer complaints and feedback professionally, striving to enhance overall customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Provide training and support to staff, fostering a collaborative and empowering environment for skill development and team growth.
• Manage cash handling and financial transactions accurately, ensuring proper procedures and controls are maintained.
• Report operational outcomes and challenges to senior management, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and organizational success.
