Mechanical Engineering Internship in Thrissur

We are seeking enthusiastic Mechanical Design Interns who are eager to learn and apply their engineering skills in real-world projects. This internship provides a great opportunity for freshers to gain hands-on experience in designing and developing innovative mechanical products and systems. As an intern, you will have the chance to use your skills in design work, you will have to travel for material procurement and coordinate with production houses, and engage in manufacturing tasks. You will work closely with experienced engineers, clients, and manufacturers to bring projects to life, and you should be willing to travel as needed.

To succeed in this internship, you should have a background in mechanical engineering, be able to apply engineering principles, and demonstrate problem-solving and teamwork abilities. A willingness to learn, take initiative, and adapt to feedback is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in material procurement and ensure materials meet design specifications.
• Perform assembly work as required.
• Assist with manufacturing tasks and production support.
• Willingness to travel for material procurement and coordination with production houses.
• Assist in the design and development of mechanical products and systems using SolidWorks, such as industrial equipment, tools, and sensors.
• Create 3D models, technical drawings, and specifications under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Perform simulations and basic analysis using SolidWorks to verify the performance of designs.
• Document the design process, iterations, and testing results.
• Collaborate with engineers and manufacturers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Learn and apply industry standards, engineering principles, and best practices.
  
  

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Should have a valid driving license.
• Familiarity with mechanical engineering principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and work collaboratively.
• Attention to detail and a desire to deliver quality work.
• Basic knowledge of SolidWorks for mechanical design is a plus.
