Senior QA Automation Engineer

Job Description

“This position is for our Nagpur, Pune offices and you are expected to work out any of these locations only.

Key Skills:

• Strong hands-on automation skills using Selenium with Java or Python
• Good working knowledge of TestNG/ Pytest
• Good experience in API Testing
• Solid understanding of testing principles, STLC, and bug life cycle
• Version control using Git, and CI tools like Jenkins
  
  

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for UI and API
• Create modular and reusable automation components
• Collaborate with developers, testers, and DevOps teams
• Actively participate in sprint planning, story grooming, and retrospectives
• Prepare test data and validate results against expected outcomes
• Document test cases, automation coverage, and defect logs
• Report testing progress, risks, and issues to test leads/project managers
  
  

Value Add:

• Good to have API automation using Rest-Assured
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Exposure to tools like JIRA, Confluence
• Basic SQL knowledge for database validation
