Key Skills:
- Strong hands-on automation skills using Selenium with Java or Python
- Good working knowledge of TestNG/ Pytest
- Good experience in API Testing
- Solid understanding of testing principles, STLC, and bug life cycle
- Version control using Git, and CI tools like Jenkins
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for UI and API
- Create modular and reusable automation components
- Collaborate with developers, testers, and DevOps teams
- Actively participate in sprint planning, story grooming, and retrospectives
- Prepare test data and validate results against expected outcomes
- Document test cases, automation coverage, and defect logs
- Report testing progress, risks, and issues to test leads/project managers
- Good to have API automation using Rest-Assured
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Exposure to tools like JIRA, Confluence
- Basic SQL knowledge for database validation
