The Senior Director, Corporate Strategy will be a key leader on the Corporate Strategy team. Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring streamlined execution and delivery across multiple projects on the Corporate Strategy team, pivoting effectively based on evolving agendas, priorities, and team capacity
- Owning ‘trusted-adviser’ relationships with senior Cognizant clients (SVP+), fostering a sense of trust and credibility across multiple teams and projects
- Setting (and raising) the bar for rigor and quality of analysis execution and outcomes, including developing innovative approaches, tools, and frameworks
- Bringing senior leadership and broader industry perspectives to projects, ensuring approach and recommendations are practical and will drive positive results for the client and Cognizant overall
- Managing career paths for junior staff on the team and identifying and directing initiatives that support professional growth and up-level the capabilities of the broader Corporate Strategy team
- Total experience: 18+ years; 8+ years of experience at a leading strategy consulting firm or in Corporate or Business Strategy role(s) at an industry-leading firm
- Strong academic credentials (e.g., degree from a top tier MBA program)
- Experience identifying and leading initiatives (both strategy and strategy execution) that advance the agenda of senior leadership
- 5+ years of team or organizational leadership experience
- Proficiency leading financial modeling and other complex data analyses
- Comfortable engaging a global team remotely/virtually
- Low ego, collaborative, direct, and impact-oriented
- IT services or technology experience in Data/AI, Cloud, SaaS, Software Engineering, IoT, etc.
- Experience in Banking & Financial Services, Insurance, Healthcare, Life Sciences, Manufacturing & Logistics,
- Energy & Utilities, Retail & Hospitality or Communications, and/or Media & Telecom industries
