Senior DevOps Engineer

Mandatory Mindset, Skill Set And Experience

• Excellent hands-on experience in advanced Kubernetes capable of deploying highly scalable and resource-optimised microservices.
• Design and develop CI/CD concepts using tools like Jenkins/Concourse/Azure Devops
• Seasoned Cloud computing expertise in deploying and managing various cloud resources like public IPs, firewalls, build agents, storage blobs, virtual machines in AWS/Azure.
• Should have mastered Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform/Ansible/ARM template/Cloud formation.
• Practical knowledge on SCM like Git with thorough understanding of core and advanced Git topics.
• Adequate experience in shell scripting/python, capable of automating simple tasks and intermediate knowledge on Unix.
• Experience of using monitoring tools such as ELK stack / Dynatrace / Grafana / Splunk with deep understanding of metrices.
• In depth knowledge of SecOps like Firewall Configuration, Security groups, DNS, Intrusion Detection, Gateways.
• Polished communication skills, good command over English language and willingness to work in a globally distributed team.
  
  

Ideal Candidates Should Also Have

• Experience working in agile teams, possibly with methodologies like Scrum/Kanban/SAFe
• Hands on experience on setting up message queues like Kafka/MQTT
• Sound knowledge on database like Oracle/PostgresSQL/MySQL
• Handy with API technologies like REST/SOAP
• Acquainted with implementation of Quality Gate like SonarQube/Lint
• Intermediate programming skills in Java using Springboot, Hibernate frameworks.
