Overview Of The Role

As a Senior Development Engineer - FrontEnd Technologies, you would mentor the project development team. The role includes owning, designing, and developing end-to-end features and modules. Additionally, you will be involved in designing UI components and writing and maintaining reusable code.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complex web applications optimised for various devices and browsers.
• Build interactive features using JavaScript libraries and frameworks.
• Work closely with designers to ensure that the application's interface meets user expectations and demands to create amazing user experiences.
• Mentor the team by actively participating in code reviews, supporting their growth in technical responsibilities, and helping to remove any roadblocks they encounter.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software, including designers, product owners, and backend developers.
• Effectively communicate with the lead/stakeholders, conveying project progress and addressing concerns to support transparency and alignment.
• Align with the organization's business goals, contributing to the company's overall success.
  
  

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in FrontEnd development, with 2-3 years of expertise in React.Js.
• Hands-on experience working with HTML5, CSS3, CSS Preprocessors, Object Oriented Javascript, React, Redux Saga/Thunk.
• Expertise in JS (ES6), Low-Level Design, Responsive Web Design, Code Standardisation and optimization.
• Should have experience in building responsive and accessible web applications.
• Knowledge of other Frontend Frameworks/Libraries e.g. Backbone.js, Angular.js, Ember.js, Vue.js is preferred.
• Familiarity with System Design, Micro-FrontEnd & CSS architecture.
• Acquainted with agile methodologies, Jira, Confluence (or similar tracking tool).
• Basic understanding of Devops & DataBase concepts, BackEnd Technologies is required.
