Senior Analyst/Lead Analyst - Private Credit

We are looking for resourceful candidates to join our Research and Strategy Operations (RSO) team within our Financial Research group based in Hyderabad. The RSO team operates within the Private Credit domain, providing support to senior credit analysts on live deals across the US and Europe. The team's responsibilities encompass various crucial aspects of the deal lifecycle, including financial modeling, market research, assisting with due diligence workstreams, and transaction execution. Additionally, the team plays a vital role in post trade analysis, which involves tracking investment performance, monitoring covenants, formulating exit strategies, managing cash for future funding, and assisting with investment pricing.
WHAT YOU'LL DO DAY-TO-DAY:
In this role, you will be expected to support Private Credit front office teams based in New York and London offices and senior credit analysts in India offices by conducting company and industry research, building financial models, summarizing conference calls, and preparing quarterly earnings reports. You will also be responsible for supporting data-intensive, critical, and time-sensitive tasks such as building and managing large financial data sets and performing exception analysis. Furthermore, you will have to liaise with multiple stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery and collaborate with the in-house technology team to automate processes to achieve optimal efficiency.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
Basic qualifications:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance with 4-6 years of relevant experience
- Experience in managing a variety of financial activities and large financial datasets, with exceptional analytical abilities, acute attention to detail, and a profound understanding of financial principles and practices
- Experience in building financial models, writing pitch books, and investment memos
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
- Self-motivation and capability to work autonomously with minimal direction and guidance
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
