About the Role

AlgoTale is looking for a passionate and driven SDE Intern to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on solving complex problems, loves building products, and is eager to grow in a fast-paced environment. You will work on real-world projects, collaborate with experienced engineers, and contribute to delivering high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain features using Java and React.js
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
  • Solve complex problems using solid knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms
  • Work closely with senior developers to understand requirements and deliver solutions
  • Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization
  • Manage tasks independently and deliver high-quality output within deadlines

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in Java and React.js
  • Solid understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms
  • Active profiles on LeetCode, CodeChef, HackerRank preferred
  • Prior experience through:
  • Internships
  • Open-source contributions
  • Personal/side projects
  • (GitHub profile preferred)
  • Excellent analytical, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • A workaholic mindset — someone who genuinely enjoys coding and continuous learning
