SDE 2 / 3 - Android

At Aspora, we're looking for a skilled Android Engineer to join our growing team in Bangalore. As part of our core engineering team, you'll play a crucial role in evolving our mobile platform, impacting millions globally with our innovative banking app. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping the product from conceptualization to launch, driving innovation, ensuring quality, and aligning with Aspora's vision. Responsibilities

• Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality Kotlin code.
• Design and build for high performance, ensuring the app is reliable and responsive.
• Collaborate with teams and regulatory bodies to design and ship new features.
• Write and maintain unit tests for robustness and reliability.
• Strive for excellence in performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
• Help maintain code quality, ensuring best practices in Android development are always followed.
  
  

Requirements

• 4- 8 years of strong design & development experience in native Android development.
• Proficiency in Android SDK, SQLite Database, Kotlin, Coroutines, XML-JSON Parsing, Jetpack-Navigation.
• Familiarity with Android architectural patterns like MVVM, MVP.
• Experience working with REST APIs, offline storage, threading, performance tuning, cloud message APIs, and push notifications.
• Familiarity with test frameworks like Mockito, Espresso, and TribOElectric.
• Up-to-date knowledge of the mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in FinTech startups preferred.
