Summary

Job Description

As a Scrum Master at Rockwell Automation, you will help build Agile excellence across software development teams within our BTM Function. You will guide 1–3 agile teams, encouraging a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and delivery excellence. Your leadership will help shape scalable solutions and ensure understanding of SAFe Agile practices, directly helping product improvement and business growth.

You will report to the Engineering Manager IT and work in a hybrid capacity from one of our India either Pune/Noida/Bangalore offices.

Your Responsibilities

  • Agile Facilitation & Coaching: Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies. Coach teams on Agile/Lean principles and SAFe practices to improve velocity and quality.
  • Team Empowerment & Delivery: Support teams in and cross-functional collaboration. Remove impediments and ensure delivery of sprint goals and program increments.
  • Project Management Support: Assist in schedule management, risk assessment, and effort estimation. Maintain project plans and track progress toward key milestones.
  • Dependency & Stakeholder Coordination: Facilitate coordination with other agile teams and communicate status of inter-team dependencies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Promote a learning culture by implementing process enhancements. Share best practices across teams and mentor junior Scrum Masters or team members.

The Essentials – You Will Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4–5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in a product-based company, managing cross-functional teams across hardware, firmware, software, and mechanical domains.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM or equivalent).
  • Ability to manage continuation/sustenance and new product design projects.

The Preferred – You Might Also Have

  • 4+ years of experience in software development, testing, or related technical roles.
  • Experience in Agile coaching or holding an Agile Coach certification.
  • Prior leadership experience in Agile environments.
  • Familiarity with Rockwell Automation products or other industrial control systems.
  • Exposure to SAFe Agile framework and enterprise-level Agile transformation initiatives.
