Title

Specialist, HSE

  • Support the development and implementation of HSE management system (including objectives, processes, and assurance) to meet requirements International Standards (ISO 14001 & ISO 45001)
  • Ensuring employees are familiar with HSE Policy and the requirements of the Company’s HSE Management Systems
  • Conduct audits/inspections and monitors follow-through corrective actions
  • Promoting a systematic approach to management of HSE activities to ensure compliance with applicable legal and other requirements.
  • Ensure Risk Assessment and RA register is updated and reviewed annually.
  • Conduct incident investigations, including Root Cause analysis.
  • Support tender process with reference to supplier/sub-contractor HSE qualification, selection, and assessment.
  • Familiarity with local legislative framework
  • Maintain Environmental impact/aspect register
  • Identify HSE training needs and conduct training programs.
  • Coordinate with internal focus groups on Sustainability initiatives
  • Lead crisis management exercises for office/sites in accordance with emergency response plan.
  • Manages security protocols for office and travellers
  • Flexibility to travel for site visits/inspections

Qualifications And Skills

  • Tertiary education in Engineering / Industrial Safety or related discipline with NEBOSH IGC
  • 7 years’ experience in site and office HSE management (construction / oil & gas)
  • Internal auditor qualification is preferred (ISO 14001/ISO 45001)
  • Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational, analytical and decision-making skills
  • Ability to write and review procedural documents, present information clearly & concisely
  • Self-starter, Proactive attitude, Influencing skills with various stakeholders
