We are looking for a Scrum Master to join our remote team.
As a Scrum Master, you will play a crucial role in driving the development and delivery of our products. You will utilize your expertise to facilitate Agile and Scaled Agile Framework methodologies and ensure successful project completion through effective collaboration. Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and effectively communicate the product vision and strategy to both the team and stakeholders
- Lead the product development process, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely delivery of products while upholding high standards of quality
- Facilitate Agile and Scaled Agile Framework methodologies, ensuring that the team follows industry best practices
- Act as the Scrum Master, leading daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, and retrospectives
- Identify and manage project risks and issues, providing timely updates to stakeholders
- Monitor and report on key product metrics to ensure that the product is achieving its business goals
- Manage the product backlog, ensuring that it is regularly updated and prioritized based on business needs
- Ensure the team works effectively and efficiently by removing any obstacles that may impede productivity
- Provide leadership and mentorship to team members to foster their growth and development
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 8+ years of IT experience with a strong background in software development
- 3+ years of experience in product management or delivery management
- Experience in a leadership role in product development, overseeing teams of 20+ full-time employees
- Certification in PSM I and SAFE (5.1 - preferably 6.x)
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies, Scaled Agile Framework, and Scrum Master principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels
- Advanced English language skills (Upper-Intermediate level or above)
- Certification in PMP and Cloud would be an added advantage
