Profile
The BRIC-National Institute of Immunology invites applications (through online mode) from early career scientists with the potential for intellectual leadership and passion for innovative research to fill up 03 positions of Staff Scientist-III on a Direct Recruitment basis. The candidates with experience in any of the areas of research mentioned below are expected to set up independent research programs to address challenging problems relating to the immune system and disease biology with translational potential, and also participate in collaborative network projects with other iBRIC institutes.
The areas of research include (but are not restricted to):
Demonstrated record of scientific productivity in the form of outstanding publications in scientific journals of repute and/or internationally valid and productive patents is essential. Applicants should be committed to excellence and willing to collaborate in interdisciplinary projects.
Candidates must upload on the online application portal a 3-page research proposal highlighting their proposed research program in the area of immune system and/or disease biology.
Novelty of the proposed research work, Quality of the scientific productivity (as demonstrated by publications/patents) and capability of independent thinking will be major factors for the selection of the candidates for the advertised positions.

1st class M.Sc with 5 years experience or 1st class M.Tech/ MD/ MVSc/ M.Pharm/ M.Biotech with 4 years R&D experience OR Ph.D with 4 years postdoctoral experience in the relevant field.
