Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute the migration of Oracle databases to Azure, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.
- Perform assessments on existing Oracle databases to identify any potential issues or complexities before migration.
- Utilize SAP Migration tools such as Software Provisioning Manager and Oracle native backup and restore tools for the migration process.
- Monitor and optimize database performance post-migration to ensure efficiency and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the migration process or post-migration.
- Document migration processes, changes, and configurations for future reference and compliance.
- Experience in handling backup and restore of MaxDB is an added advantage .
- 4+ years of experience in SAP Basis along with handling SAP OS/DB migrations specifically with Oracle database migrations to cloud platforms.
- Expertise in SAP Basis administration and Oracle database management.
- Proficiency in migration tools such as SWPM and Oracle native tools like brtools, RMAN and oracle data guard.
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems in SAP environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
