Position Overview

The E-commerce Officer is responsible for managing the company’s online sales platforms, optimizing product listings, coordinating order processing, and driving revenue growth through strategic e-commerce initiatives. This role requires a blend of analytical, technical, and creative skills to ensure seamless online operations and an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Online Store Management

• Manage and update product listings on e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, and the company’s website.
• Ensure accurate product descriptions, pricing, and inventory levels.
  
  

Order Fulfillment

• Oversee the end-to-end order processing cycle, including order receipt, dispatch, and delivery tracking.
• Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure timely deliveries.
  
  

Customer Experience

• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.
• Monitor customer reviews and ratings, addressing issues to enhance satisfaction.
  
  

Marketing & Promotions

• Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute online promotions, discounts, and campaigns.

Sales Analysis

• Track and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.

Vendor & Platform Relations

• Liaise with e-commerce platform representatives to resolve issues and ensure compliance with platform policies.
• Negotiate favorable terms with vendors and service providers.
  
  

Technical Coordination

• Coordinate with the IT team to ensure smooth functioning of e-commerce systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the online store.
  
  

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in e-commerce operations or a similar role.
• Familiarity with major e-commerce platforms and tools.
• Basic understanding of SEO and digital marketing.
