SAP Application Engineer

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or other technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience working with Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP).
  
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in designing data integration/business application solutions. Understanding of information management, data modeling, system integration, development methodologies.
• Experience in managing data in both relational and NoSQL databases, with a focus on optimizing performance and experience with distributed systems and micro service architecture.
• Experience with configuring and integrating with SAP ERP systems. Programming experience in object-oriented ABAP, SAP CPI, PI/PO and SQL.
• Experience implementing and customizing vendor software, or building custom financial applications.
• Knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors EC and ECP, Treasury, or Tax/International.

Responsibilities

• Implement Software Development Life Cycle (designing, building, and testing) of SAP applications that support internal business processes related to financial planning and analysis.
• Work with stakeholders to solve complex and ambigous problems.
• Build consensus among cross-functional teams and influence decision making with different teams.
