Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth in the pharmaceutical sector.
- Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and collective sales targets.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to enhance team capabilities.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key B2B clients in the pharmaceutical industry, including API manufacturers and intermediaries.
- Act as the primary point of contact for major accounts and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Market Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and potential clients.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to make informed decisions and adjustments to sales strategies.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with the marketing, product development, and regulatory teams to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches and promotions.
- Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure all sales activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales
- Proven experience in dealing with B2B clients in the pharmaceutical sector, specifically with API manufacturers and intermediaries.
- Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, market dynamics, and regulatory environment.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and inspire a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
